The first of our Fall Flashbacks of the films we released this past season presents three filmmakers — Georges Méliès, Charley Bowers, and Jeff Scher — who have utilized single-frame and stop-motion animation techniques — linked with live action sequences — to create diverse cinematic works across the span of film history.
